dog” Marley four times in the past
few months in Brooklyn, NY.
Marley was visiting from CT where
she lives in suburbia, a totally
different environment. Marley is a
female, 65 pound black standard
poodle, 1 year and 7 months and
not totally command trained.
Fortunately I live within easy
walking distance of Grand Army
Plaza and Prospect Park as Marley
is only used to grass.
The first time Miranda sat with
Marley was a very long day. I took
my kids to a Yankee game so we
were gone from mid day (batting
practice) until after 11 PM. The
second day was also several hours.
Just this past week Miranda sat
with Marley for two days in a row,
each about 4 hours.
I would highly recommend Miranda
without reservation and have told
her that I would contact her any
time Marley visits. Miranda
immediately bonded with Marley,
took her on long walks to Prospect
Park when the weather was
appropriate. When it was very hot
last week, Miranda knew to keep
the walks short and with plenty of
water.
Marley was obviously happy to see
Miranda this past week and
remembered her. Marley was also
unhappy to see Miranda leave.
I find Miranda conscientious,
knowledgeable, caring, cheerful
and dependable. I also have three
cats in the apartment (who were
locked in my bedroom) and
Miranda was wonderful with them
while caring for Marley."
